Excellent conclusion to the life of Jamie.I liked your world building skills. As I read through the series over the last few days, I saw how nice and detailed your world building was. You addressed alot of the issues of expanding into the greater Multiverse and how the usefulness of 'free' worlds can impact society and how society can impact them. This reminds me alot in some ways of the late and great Terry Pratchetts Long Earth series.
Your MC, main character, seems over powered at times, but then you do something that reminds me and all readers that short of being the Big S-man, a character is never ALL powerful. Course, even the S-Man still has his troubles too. Hence we still read his novels.
In a lot of ways I think the Kent family would get along just fine with the families here. You did a fine job creating a detailed enough family and environment that made it so believable. You've kept the same pacing and feel since book 1. Thank you for that. I've read enough to know some authors stray from their book 1 and forget where they came from.
I hope this novel is just another set stage for the next evolution of our MC and his friends and family. Perhaps we shall see the children of our MC and his Firecracker out in the greater multiverse. After all, in the near infinite combinations of worlds..who's to say that villains don't abound as well?....
time will tell.

Enjoyed this series. Some fun parts to it and unique solutions to majic problems.
Was expecting a lot more considering his previous works. It was good for a couple hours of reading though, but I was disappointed. The ending was cute and friendly.
This installment of the wizard born series fits into the rest but somehow seems rushed. There are a few mistakes were Dr. tindell and Mr. bass name are mixed up. overall it it a great addition.
I'm a bit disappointed in the ending , also (spoiler) i think if you let a bunch of modern native Americans loose on a new planet i doubt they all going to jump on a horse and live in wigwams in sinc with nature
Jamie and Fred grow up. Edan's world is improving and modernizing and the real world is calling. This is a really nice addition to the Wizard Born series and seems to be the last in the series line but it does leave the door open for what may be more adult action and like other reviewers, I hope Mr Johnson takes advantage of this. His characters are too good to end here.
